There seem to be two main schools in street photography. One will only shot their pictures without letting the person know it’s being photographed, and the other doesn’t hide their intention, even talk to the person they want to photograph. For most part Hoffmann gets the photos for this book without letting anyone know what he is doing. He is a good photographer, and has excellent photos here.
