Название: Learning with Fractional Orthogonal Kernel Classifiers in Support Vector Machines: Theory, Algorithms and Applications Автор: Jamal Amani Rad, Kourosh Parand, Snehashish Chakraverty Издательство: Springer Серия: Industrial and Applied Mathematics Год: 2023 Страниц: 312 Язык: английский Формат: pdf (true), epub Размер: 42.2 MB
This book contains select chapters on support vector algorithms from different perspectives, including mathematical background, properties of various kernel functions, and several applications. The main focus of this book is on orthogonal kernel functions, and the properties of the classical kernel functions―Chebyshev, Legendre, Gegenbauer, and Jacobi―are reviewed in some chapters. Moreover, the fractional form of these kernel functions is introduced in the same chapters, and for ease of use for these kernel functions, a tutorial on a Python package named ORSVM is presented. The book also exhibits a variety of applications for support vector algorithms, and in addition to the classification, these algorithms along with the introduced kernel functions are utilized for solving ordinary, partial, integro, and fractional differential equations. On the other hand, nowadays, the real-time and big data applications of support vector algorithms are growing. Consequently, the Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA) parallelizing the procedure of support vector algorithms based on orthogonal kernel functions is presented. The book sheds light on how to use support vector algorithms based on orthogonal kernel functions in different situations and gives a significant perspective to all Machine Learning and scientific Machine Learning researchers all around the world to utilize fractional orthogonal kernel functions in their pattern recognition or scientific computing problems. |

Название: PHP Cookbook: Modern Code Solutions for Professional PHP Developers (8th Early Release) Автор: Eric Mann Издательство: O’Reilly Media, Inc. Год: 2023-03-21 Страниц: 498 Язык: английский Формат: epub (true), mobi Размер: 10.1 MB
If you're a PHP developer looking for proven solutions to common problems, this cookbook provides code recipes to help you resolve numerous scenarios. By leveraging modern versions of PHP through version 8.1, these self-contained recipes provide fully realized solutions that can help you solve similar problems in your day-to-day work. PHP is well known as a loosely-typed language. This sets the language apart as developers are not required to identify the type of a specific variable when it’s created or even when it’s called. The interpreter behind PHP will identify the right type when the variable is used and, in many cases, transparently cast the variable as a different type at runtime. |

What is the impact of chatGPT on your classroom? Should you be concerned? Should you use it or not? In the book, "80 Ways to Use ChatGPT in the Classroom: Using AI to Enhance Teaching and Learning," Dr. Stan Skrabut, an instructional technologist and designer, explores these topics and much more. He presents different ways to incorporate chatGPT into the classroom, including preparation for classes, providing instructional assistance, creating assessments, developing study aids, and using chatGPT for computer programming. The book also covers how students can use chatGPT for writing assistance, research, and personalized learning. ChatGPT is another addition to a line of Artificial Intelligence (AI) writing tools such as Jasper, Sudowrite, Quillbot, etc. It builds on Grammarly, the Hemingway app, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and others. The Chapter "Using ChatGPT for Computer Programming" will teach you how to utilize chatGPT to streamline your coding process. With chatGPT, you can quickly write code in various languages. Provide specific input, and let chatGPT work its magic. Not only can chatGPT write code and explain what it does, but it also can troubleshoot any issues, write SQL code, clean up HTML code, write application scripts, and even add comments to your code. By the end of this chapter, you will have a better understanding of how to use chatGPT to improve your coding efficiency. |

Название: Model-Based Clustering, Classification, and Density Estimation Using mclust in R Автор: Luca Scrucca, Chris Fraley, T. Brendan Murphy Издательство: CRC Press Серия: The R Series Год: 2023 Страниц: 269 Язык: английский Формат: pdf (true) Размер: 28.26 MB
Model-based clustering and classification methods provide a systematic statistical modeling framework for cluster analysis and classification. The model-based approach has gained in popularity because it allows the problems of choosing or developing an appropriate clustering or classification method to be understood within the context of statistical modeling. Mclust is a widely-used software package for the statistical environment R. It provides functionality for model-based clustering, classification, and density estimation, including methods for summarizing and visualizing the estimated models. This book aims at giving a detailed overview of mclust and its features. A description of the modeling underpinning the software is provided, along with examples of its usage. In addition to serving as a reference manual for mclust, the book will be particularly useful to readers who plan to employ these model-based techniques in their research or applications. The companion website for this book contains the R code to reproduce the examples and figures presented in the book, errata and various supplementary material. |
